But now I have those problems,

nobody cares about me.

Walking down the streets in the fog of London East

I must have been quite bored, or worried a little more.

I met this stupid guy, he laughed when I passed by.

A dull look on his face, no big light at any rate

With a leather tie, braces and black shoes

that close cropped kid laughed at me.

He told me life was fun and even very good

If you close your eyes for problems it’s easy done you see.

I said: he listen mate, if you really feel that way

it’s Clear you cannot see how tough this life can be.

There’s sure no easy way for a working man today

The world’s a hell you see, no cosy place to be.

But it seemed to me they’re only wasted words,

make fun he said again, life is so very short.

With a smile ffrom face to face het said goodbye to me.

He walked under a bus when he tried to cross the street.

I’ve always been know as the cutest kid

My practical jokes sure made everybody laugh.

Oh, it’s nice to be so popular,

you feel yourself so strong

you’re totally protected,

just laugh when things go wrong.
